No I dont celebrate christams.. first off it has pagan roots and so its against my religious beliefs.... also, I dont believe Jesus was born on dec. 25th .... and third, it teaches lies to children. Children will grow up thinking its ok to lie. just by that third reason alone I wouldnt want to be involved.

We will teach our son about Santa, the concept teaches them about being good and being rewarded for it, along with being nice to everyone, and not being judgemental.

I think it just goes to show kids tht their parents are willing to lie to them...what is the point in making up stories about some fat guy coming into the house through the chimmney?

Yes we celebrate Christmas and we teach our children about Santa. We believe that it causes to harm. Christmas symbolizes the birth of Christ and a repeat of the gift-giving the three wise men started by bringing gifts for Baby Jesus. Personally we teach our children about Santa because I want my children to believe in things are possible even if they are a little far fetched - (think about your child's imaginary friend, or yours when you were a kid).

Yes we do celibrate christmas, and yes we do teach our daughter about santa. we do this so that she can believe and know the true meaning of christmas which in our family is is the joy of giving rather than recieving. of course recieving is nice, but it is the joy of giving which is most important.

Well, I don't have any kids of my own, but my family let's the kids believe in Santa. It's kinda fun. Let them enjoy the "magic" of Santa.

Our children know there is no such thing as santa, they learned that a long time ago when they were in a shopping mall and they saw only "white" santas.. They would wonder why there were no BLACK SANTAS to take their pictures with... I think it is ashame that they cant hire atleast a few people that are not white to dress up as SANTA since there are more then white people in this world, however I have had my share of arguements on this one.
so since my children are supposed to be able to see people that look like they do and live happy my DAD used to dress up as SANTA for all of the children in OUR neighborhood.
My dad is gone now and I have to find a MAN that can do t he same for the children around here.
