So this weekend was a productive one and I was grateful for that because it kept my mind off of a couple things, especially that "Chris" situation I have been trying to deal with. (I am sure many of you know as a couple of my posts have referred to him). I was minding my own business and feeling great that I had not contacted Chris after what he said to me on Friday. For those of you that dont know what he said, here goes.... I had texted him and said "its too bad we couldn't hang out this week, I really wanted to see you." He goes onto say " Maybe you should find someone whose unemployed to hang out with." RUDE and RUDE, that simple line showed me how he really thinks of me and how he feels. So anyways I receive a text last night that says "sorry for whatever." Of course I ask what that means and he says nothing. Then he proceeds to tell me "ok. Sorry I was doing dumb stuff the other night." Then I said "so you are apologizing for being an ass then" he says yes. What a D Bag!! right?? He has enough time to hang out with friends and drink last night but yet he doesn't call me up to hang out when he finally has a free moment of time, screw him. I am now realizing where I finally rank in his life and how I need to seriously cut him out!! What do you guys think about his apology and the way he acted towards me??

@Castlerock34 It's the sort of comment that is made when someone realises they've upset someone else but don't understand how/why so can't offer any specifics in the apology. Like you say, saying nowt was probably better (slightly!!).

I have already started the grieving process. I have not spoke to him since his "apology"

Maybe he really was very busy at the time and sent you the text unintentionally. As he has apologized, you too should accept it and enjoy life together.

That was no apology! He didnt even know what he was apologizing for, that to me means he doesnt give a crap about me or how I feel

I think you are right to be angry and should tell him that you are thinking of cutting him out of your life.
