A Presidential candidate just said this......

There is a presidential candidate in the country where I reside in who is topping the surveys because of his good track record as a Mayor but I think he may not win the election after saying something so offensive you will want to punch his face. One of his biggest platform is to get rid of drugs and crime. He talked about the case where drug addicts gang raped an Australian Christian Missionary. He joked about how he hate the rapist murderers killed the Australian woman. He said she looks like a Hollywood actress, he should have slept with her first. I am still unsure who to vote this election but I will definitely wont vote for him. We have 5 choices to vote for. I narrowed my choices down to 3 since I have two people I wont vote for now. The other person I wont vote is nice guy but he is incompetent and disaster when he is under pressure. Here are the remaining choices I have: A man who managed to boost the economy of his city but has many accusations of corruption thrown at him. He kinda sucked on the debates too. A woman who is known for intelligence, good track record as a Senator but currently suffering from Cancer. A woman with less experience but has good reputation. Her lack of experience makes her questionable for me.

That candidate has gone too far in his jokes . It could be a joke , but it is not the kind of joke that you should make in a gathering like that . His mouth is so foul .

Well he cussed on the Pope last year. People here have short term memory though. Also somewhere in the late 90's he banned trans-gendered women in Davao.

I am voting for the 3rd person on your list. Lack of experience is not really a gauge. What is experience if the experience is used for greed and corruption. Her short stint in the government is not tainted with corruption, she has no trace of greediness and have proofs of her capability. I don't want trapo, I want something new. The number one person in your list is the first person I junked in my list of choices. He is one of the most corrupt persons I've ever known and I wonder why there are still those who want to vote for this corrupt men. His claim that he made Makati rich is incorrect. It is the Zobels and the Ayalas and the many other rich people who did. He and his family were actually made rich by these big taxpayers because he took advantage of the treasury of Makati. Every project he did had equivalent amount kept in his own treasury. He will surely go to jail if he did not win this election.

Are you ready to watch the final debate? I am so excited for the carnage. I hope everyone will be available so I can see them slaughter each other. I have hesitations about Binay too because of all his controversies with corruption/

@CaptAlbertWhisker B is a corrupt man. I worked and stayed in Makati for more than 15 years so I know this for a fact. I watched the debate and I find it not as exciting as the debate hosted by TV5.

@salonga I know our current president sucks but I am so disturbed that millennials are now salivating to see a Marcos back in malacanang. They were so dumb in history.

It is relatively easy to manage a place as a Mayor, but not as a President. With his kind of tactless speech, he is going to affect the country in the long run. A President must be able to maintain good foreign policy to encourage trade.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Now Australia and New Zealand refuse to give visa to Filipinos. More countries will follow since his bad mouth keeps on insulting other countries.

@scheng1 The price of peso just dropped so it is kind of disturbing. He is also winning.

One of the reason why China messing with this country now is the fact that our last President refused to apologize after the hostage taking that killed innocent chinese. I think more bad PR with other countries will happen with him. Imagine all the enemies he will make.

I think he has already crossed the line for testing our tolerance with his continuous incivility, his down fall would be of his own making, and come to think of it, he refuses to apologize

I cant believe some people are still defending him. He said it is only a joke. Well people still voted for Erap despite of the fact he said that he will have his wife assassinated so he can marry Miss Colombia 1994.

He is leading the surveys now. We have a separate election for vice president and a son of a dictator is damn leading in surveys.

I'm voting for Santiago - Marcos. Santiago, I believe, has balls like Duterte and has class when speaking to people. She was an International judge. Marcos for VP because I believe he will promote alternative energy to lower electric bills and will do his best to stop customs from robbing from OFWs. People have been having a go with this Martial Law his father passed but not everyone knows the truth why it was passed.

I have no issue with your choice of President, she is one of the ones I consider. I am not worried about her health at all. I am more worried about her popularity. I hope she pulls through.

That is why I'm undecided to this day my friend. the last presidential debate i hope i can have my choice, but it seem Im critical on all the candidates. as for that joke he did, that was little compare to what other candidates do, even the women who has cancer made some insane jokes too back in the day.

rape is a very sensitive topic though. I think the Australian embassy and the Australian government is now demanding an apology from him. Remember China started invading us after our current president refused to apologize from the hostage taking.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I don't think it has anything to do with the hostage when they invaded our territory. they discovered a lot of oil there and that made them plan the invasion.

It is unfortunate that many people who would make candidates don't run as they don't have the money or the power to do so. I don't think I could vote for someone who knowingly lies, cheats, and has a history of corruption.

What do you think of someone who is a very nice person but very incompetent and weak? I know I have to vote wisely because this election is for the sake of everyone's future.

It is tough to make a choice in the election as nobody is perfect; we just look for someone overall satisfactory. The comment of the first candidate must be abhorred right away. I don't know how to criticize this!

Sometimes the only choice is the lesser of the 2 devils or the less weaker of the 2 losers. A woman got raped and killed and he makes a joke about her like that which is very offensive.
