~You Want To Update Now?~

So I was on MyLot earlier just minding my own business, commenting and interacting. Of course out of nowhere my laptop says-time to update-save your work or you will lose it! WHAT? 
Of course the laptop has a mind of it's own and updates when it feels like it so I was stuck just waiting for it to update-of course the laptop doesn't seem to mind about my time either so it took over an hour to get done! 
Ugh, now I am back. The laptop gave me permission to enjoy my time here again...for now anyway.
I threatened to throw it if it does that updating thing again...that should teach it not to mess with me!

Then those updates want you to stop and log out of what you are doing, it is just plain crazy. lol

@Dena91 My father used to handle all of my computer issues but now that we are 9 hours from him that's not really possible.
Thanks I am glad it finally finished too! Thank you, the sun was annoying him like my computer was annoying me! Lol

@hatley Lol too bad throwing it would hurt me more than it would be hurt. The sun was in his eyes and he was annoyed by that like I was annoyed by my computer updating. Lol. Thank you. =)

Our computers always seem to do things at the wrong time, when we are doing something else and have to wait. It is annoying too, when it takes its sweet time doing what it needs to do. I am glad you got it done though so you could come back, and not have to worry about it interrupting you again.

@LovingMyBabies It is that way with the virus scan too. It seems to take forever, and all I can do is sit and twiddle my fingers and tell it ot hurry up.

Up datings are necessary. Mine, once took three hours. This occurred one week after an installation of the system.

@LovingMyBabies And then it has the gall to slow down to a crawl, not respond at all, and then make you wait for things to load, and right when you're ready to give up and call it quits, it starts working again.

You can set your updates to be done like in the middle of the night. Go to your indows update center and swtich your settings, that way you won't be interrrupted! I agree it is annoying.

How aggravating. I usually get those laptop update things when I go to turn my computer off before bed and have to wait while it does the updating.
