Sometimes it's Lupus-and it sucks!

I was diagnosed with Lupus during my first pregnancy over 10 years ago. I do have some organ involvement and have been fairly lucky in being stable for such a long time. My symptoms were minimal but now my Lupus if flaring with a vengeance.
It is so difficult to be a wife, mother, hell even a person right now. I am exhausted. In and out of the hospital. I am still very young but I sure don't feel like it. I recently had a big move which could be part of the flare up as stress can trigger it. So I am starting all over again with doctors and trying to get settled and it just seems never ending.
It is hard to talk to those in my life about this kind of stuff because they live it too. When you are diagnosed with an illness, a serious chronic illness everyone has to deal with it. And when you are very ill everyone worries. Could this be it? Could you die? You think it too. You try not to, but when you are hooked up to machines in ICU getting transfusions and tests you worry too.
If you know someone who is dealing with a chronic illness, reach out. It is hard and it can be lonely. Even if you think they have all the support in the world remember those care givers, the people in their life need someone too.

It is difficult especially of you are young. It can take a toll on your quality of life.

Yes, I agreed with you the person who is ill and staying alone is very difficult. I also had Knee surgery last year and my wife and parents never left me alone and I think that's why I came out frustration and illness with flying colors.
