Another Busy Day Ahead

Yesterday I wasn't able to be on here a lot. Took my car to the garage to have my tires changed. Asked them to check it all over. He said everything was fine and it only cost me for the tires. So I was thankful for that. Today we have our Older Adults' Fellowship Meeting at our Pastor's home and I am looking forward to that. His wife always serves us a delicious meal. We spend about an hour singing hymns from the hymnbook, and each of us has a chance to choose one. We always have some good discussions, led by our Pastor, and just generally have a good time together. Lots of sunshine again, after some showers yesterday. I will come back later today and get caught up on notifications. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

@AnneEJ It was cooler today here, and a bit windy. I think that it was around 18C today, tomorrow will be similar.

@Juliaacv It was only 15 here and wind was a bit cool, but the sun is so warm, I didn't mind the wind.

Your Fellowship meeting sounds so wonderful! I used to sing in the choir at church and how I miss that. Since I lost my car and gave up my license, I can't get anywhere anymore. But I can watch The Mass on TV and sing here. God still hears me. :)

In our church, we sing some hymns but mostly just worship choruses. So we older folk like to get together and sing the oldies from the books.

The lunch was good. She had made Tortellini and I could not eat that because of the cheese, So I had lots of salad and a roll. She had Lemon Pie for dessert which was very good.

It was very nice. We had three people there who had not been before and some others were missing. Had a nice lunch and a great time of fellowship.
