Football Games All The Time!!

I am getting a little annoyed with the amount of soccer games near my work. There was a match on Saturday so traffic on Saturday and now there is one today which means more traffic near work again later this evening. It seems they play football matches almost every other day! Do soccer or football matches affect traffic in your area?

Fortunately no. I think our country is not big on sports, including football. We never win gold in Olympics, and we never get into World Cup. That is all right with us.

It can be annoying when the traffic gets really busy near work because of the football matches :(

@gudheart Yes, that is annoying, unless you go to watch instead of returning home.

@gudheart It does get crazy here when the Packers are playing and it's a home game. But that's months away at the moment.

Everybody's nuts about sports around here, but since I don't live in a big city, it doesn't seem to impact traffic. Most people are into the professional teams.

Luckily it doesn't but I would find it very annoying. I know residents in towns that have big events from time to time will often leave home for the weekend to avoid all the traffic and crowds.

In my mind the soccer is a popular sports in UK. Many people are crazy about it. Here due to the nice public traffic, the soccer or other big games will not have a big effect on us. I assumed the relevant departments have experience to deal with it. After all, some big events have held in my city sometimes.

I hate footy, don't watch it, don't support any teams, couldn't tell you who plays. there is way tooooooo much footy on TV and it's everything as to a stand still for the game.
