Packaging - manufacturer or customer money

Now a days it's an era of show off . Products are packed in a beautiful packaging but have you ever thought who bears the cost of it ?? Of course it's goes from customers pocket . I feel we use product not packaging so why we should bear the cost of it . We should start using product which doesn't have fancy packaging instead it should have good quality product . Too much competition due to which manufactures pay attention on fancy packaging and advertisment and give product in less cost but compromise in quality. Are we getting justice of our hard earned money???
