What a Beautiful Day

To get up this morning and be greeted by the sun and warmer temperatures just starts the day off on the right foot.
I'm always in a better mood when the sun is shining. I took the dogs out in the yard and they were sniffing the air and almost smiling. They took longer than usual to do their business so I can only assume they were enjoying being outside.
So, I took my coffee out to the deck and let them wander around while I sat and enjoyed the quiet before the day officially got started.
My son in law (who hurt his knee) is doing better today which is a good thing. I guess resting is the right way to heal a twisted knee and he should be back on his feet in a few days.
He's watching tv, my mom is taking her morning nap, the dogs are sleeping and I have some free time to spend here on myLot.

We had most of last week and part of this week with sunshine, but today it's gloomy.

I too love waking up to a day of sunshine, I am hoping we get to see it again soon. They say our weekend will be in the 80's and I hope their right because I am tired of spring snow storms.

That sounds like a pretty good start to your day! It was cloudy and rainy here this morning, but later in the afternoon the sun did come out and I went outside for a little while and took a few pictures. Hubby burned some tree limbs and leaves and we both cleaned up the yard some. I hope the nice weather holds out for a few more days!

It's a gorgeous day here, too! I do have a window open and the wind has been blowing things around in here! lol But I don't mind. It feels so good! :)

It's a beautiful day here too, although I prefer April not to go straight to the eighties, especially since the ac decided to stop working over the week-end.
