I see this on Facebook mainly those having kids. The law states you get A job back after A year leave. I feel this is fair You then are not qualified for the job and may have found someone else. You picked to take a year off and therefore you shouldn't expect a job. This girl posted how unfair it is yet she took well over a year thefefore the company doesn't have to give you anti ng let alone a job. So I copied the labour laws, and rules of leave of sense for ch ild Leave.

Yes, it depends on the company. But legally they don't have to give you a job back after a year mat leave.

I had to look this up In the UK most women can take up to one year maternity leave. Here the law says that you must take at least two weeks immediately after the baby is born. If you work in a factory, you must take at least four weeks. You can come back to the same job with the same terms and conditions but it is very complicated so I have given up looking at it
