Where were you this time last year, can you remember?
This time last year I was in San Francisco, we had the whole day to explorer the city after getting the 4am train from chic onto San Fran. We had time to kill until out flight over to the UK.
It just seems like yesterday, but no it’s a year ago April 19, 2015. The day started out cloudy in SF but the cloud soon vanished and the sun was out and it felt warm.
We walk b some of the piers until we decided to go up Coit Tower, first, we had to get to the tower front the sea front. Once at the tower, we took the lift to the top of the 210 tall tower. The view from the top was amazing.
Once back down it was a quick bit to eat and then off to the airport for our 10-hour flight to London.
Can you remember what you were doing today? The photo was taken from the top of Coit Tower. It not one but several photo stacked together.

@kevin1877uk Facebook is actually good for a few things. When my husband passed away, his family and friends in Texas (2,000 miles away from here) wanted to keep in touch with me since they could not fly up here. Facebook allowed me to send them various updates and photos of my husband in better days, and many of them have kept in touch with me to this date, which I find comforting. I get to see them and talk with them every day. So, in my life, Facebook is something of a blessing that I really do need.

Around this time last year I am pretty sure I was at home, doing school work. That is basically all i do. I really do want to keep a journal of each thing I do each day, it seems fun to do. It would be nice to remember what happens.

I am where I was last year at this time and I used to go to San Francisco often as it is such an interesting city to visit but I would not want to live there. I once stayed at the Presido guest house when it was a military base. Great picture.

I have no idea what I was doing a year ago but I'm pretty sure I was in Canada, in my house and doing the daily things I do. The older we get the more we travel. we are someplace warm in winter and have several trips planned for the summer but April is a blah month here but life goes on. Your trip sounds wonderful. I've never been to California.

Thank you, I know you do travel a lot and I guess once you get older you do travel more. All the trips into SF were good, seeing a different part of the city. I wonder if I will ever see SF again! If you would asked me 5 years about SF I would have it would be nice to visit but could never see myself being there. I stood in amazment when I was looking at the Golden Gate bridge for the first time.

@PainsOnSlate Yes it really is, I'd been in and out of SF many times with travelling back and forth from the UK. Sadly now stuck in the UK. I would love to go back one day and spend a little longer in SF, the most I did stay was 2 nights at any one time. It was mainly going to the airport but at times, we did have time to visit the city.

That sounds like a nice visit to San Fransisco. I was on a road trip. My mother and I were driving from New York to Tennessee.
