I've seen quite a number of political discussions here. As long as the words are your own and the discussion is a respectful one, there's no reason not to talk about politics.
I really appreciate that you've thought to ask before posting, though. Sadly, there have been rather a large number of new users over the last week or so who have just assumed whatever they wrote here would be OK. Plagiarism and spam seem to be on the rise, and we've also had a few users posting in languages other than English - which is forbidden for reasons of moderation.
If you'd like to have a comprehensive list of the things that are forbidden here, check out the Community Guidelines:
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

I just didn't expect that , freedom of expression is just words on paper in our Egyptian life , here in my country , i have no right to talk about politics just in one case , praising the regime , we have no right to talk about any problems happened caused by government , or we will not be able to see the sun again , freedom of expression is just a dream for me as an Egyptian .

I don't see why not, as far as I remember, there isn't anything against it written in the rules of the site, so I guess its allowed.

@gullver Its not just about the posts you create, from what I'm seeing, it also is moreso the comments you leave on other people's discussions.

@Chispa514 I agree: it's about interacting with others and about the quality of interaction too. If we just like a comment, or say something kind of spammy like, "I agree," we aren't going to earn for that. But if we have a back and forth conversation in which the comments are fairly substantial, earnings go up.
BTW, greetings from a former Montrealer! Where on the island do you live? I lived in the West Island, and then in Verdun/Cote St-Paul and St-Henri.
