Nowadays, the best choice is to buy your own domain and distribute your work from there.
Blogger might be a good choice.

@pandeyanimesh It should go well. One thing I did not do but I should have done is to write long articles. They do better with search engines.

I am considering buying my own domain, but first I'll see how my WordPress experience goes.

Why not try it all and see what works best for you?

@pandeyanimesh You've mentioned you can't decide. Someone can't make that decision for you.

@cherriefic I believe someone else would know which would be best to exhibit literary works.

I fear that would quite be a waste of time..
I need one suitable to present my literary works.

I have used all of those and at the moment I think Blogger suits best my style. Okay I also share stupid pictures and links in Tumblr. I think they are all good for their purpose. Wordpress is more for portfolio or community based stuff.

I'm thinking about writing a blog that encompasses my literary works.

@pandeyanimesh If you are going to have many categories and side categories I would recommend Wordpress. It might seem hard at start but its quite easy once you get to it. :) Just remember to save when you change your site appearance so you don't have to reset everything if something goes wrong. Just have multiple saves with different name.

@Varjokani I was inclined towards WordPress. How to spread the blogs extensively? That they reach a wider audience?
