No, because I didn't play when I was young. I just stayed home and learn my ABCs and numbers.

@rina110383, I don't believe that you never played when you were little.

@marlina No, I didn't. If I played, that's more on educational toys and I played alone. My parents didn't want us to mingle with other kids. They don't want us to get messy. They just want us inside the house. They also don't want kids inside the house because they don't want a messy house. My parents are grade conscious people. What they want is for us to give them high grades, hence, we weren't allowed to play. That explains my unfriendly/introvert/anti-social nature.
Notwithstanding those, I never had regrets. I want a life without play. I just want to work/study.

I remember going to my friends houses and playing but not with my mom. I had playgroups at my home and at local parks all the time when my kids were little and the moms would all come and chat while the kids played. It was a lot of fun. I had themes for them a lot of times like summer olympics, pajama party, earth day etc.

@destimona What kind of playdate are you having? Where the mom is there too or your child is going to the friends house without you? My son got invited to his friends this weekend but he didn't feel comfortable going. He is very timid. I was to sick from depression to get up to take him anyway.

It's nice when parents can get together and have play dates with the children. My middle daughter is trying to set up something with my granddaughters friend from school.
