Not A Good Day For A Nap

Some days are really good for naps and other day, not so good. Today was one of those days that wasn't so good. I managed to fall asleep for about an hour only to wake up chilled to the bone and that foggy brain feeling that accompanies it. I just made a pot of coffee and that is beginning to make me feel better. What would we do without coffee? I have been online with my friend most of the day trying to help her sort out her online love life and it is simply getting more confusing by the day. Her love life is wearing me out!! If only a had a brother to introduce her to!! That would solve everything.

Oh I wish I could take a nap. I only manage to get about 15 minutes and then wake to get supper ready. Seems when I get home all I want to do is put my feet up and close my eyes.

I'm hoping that I grow up to be just like my mom lol. She says that the minute she sits in her recliner... she's gone. Now wouldn't that be nice lol!

@Hate2Iron I usually get all settled into the recliner and my husband comes home. Ugh.

I used to get very tired when I was working but sometimes it was very hard to fit in a nap.

I'm sorry to hear that. It was my day off today so I was hoping to get in a nice, refreshing nap myself but instead I tried - two times - and I couldnt' fall asleep either time. I have given up trying, and I am drinking coffee myself now. It's not fun when you are tired but can't sleep. Ugh!

There is nothing worse than wanting to have a nap and being unable to fall asleep.

I don't think you can help her with that.

Naps always happen to me when I'm not trying for them! I do very well without coffee btw - I don't like it.

I think I can take a nap any time and any where. Yesterday while watching television I fell asleep sitting up in a recliner for over 2 hours. The other day it was in a rocker. I know I am old but this is crazy. I do stay up until about 2am on here every night so that could be part of the problem. I am not a coffee drinker so that wouldn't help me.

Every time I lay on top of the bed, perfectly comfortable, I wake up cold. I really need to get under the blankets even if I don't think I need to.
