By 2020 Andrew Jackson's profile will no longer be on the twenty dollar bill as the first woman's face to be on a bill will replace him and the woman chosen was Harriet Tubman.
Harriet Tubman was a slave who escaped slavery in the 1800s and spent her time til the Civil War ended helping other slaves escape at the risk of her own life via the Underground railroad. It is also said that the twenty was chosen because as one story I saw on the news she went into an office in New York city and said the Lord sent her to ask for twenty dollars. Not only will she be the first woman, but the first Afro-American.
The back of some of the other bills will be changed also depicting women with one having three women on the back and also Martin Luther King on the back of the five.
When the new bills begin to roll out it is going to seem strange seeing a different face and faces where building once grace the back of bills. Time moves on

I was surprised they wanted to change it, I am sure a lot of the old bills will still be circulating.

I would've liked to see Teddy Roosevelt (one of my favorite presidents and Americans) considering how awesome he was

It should be interesting. I heard the original plan was to replace the $10, but Alexander Hamilton was more popular than Andrew Jackson, so the government decided to change the $20.
