Why do we abandon our veterans, as far as Im concerned they should have adequate benefits for life, and if in active service/hazard zone tour or injured especially. When will this country quit giving handouts to deadbeats at cost of one group that deserves benefits (I wont call them entitlements because im not sure anything is trade off for what some veterans sacrifice in name of country). Get rid of welfare for those who use it as hammock--that would allow reallocation to VA.

It is as if they are abandoned yet our government gives to illegals instead of our veterans. This is definitely a pet peeve of mine. Yes get rid of welfare for those who use it as a hammock, give it to the veterans who need it not some deadbeat.
