Feeling of accomplishment (but tired out...)

I didn't think I was going to be able to get much done today, but I was wrong. As I took Angel for her morning walk, I noted how overcast the sky was. I thought, "It would be a good day to wash Mom's car and I can weed tomorrow or Saturday." So, I got home, turned off the alarm, opened the garage door, and started in on Mom's car. As I went back and forth to the hose to rinse the car and turn the water off and on, I yanked weeds and the dead Morning glories, as the new ones were coming up and already starting to climb. I got to yank a bunch of weeds growing by the driveway, too. When I got in, Mom said she'd wondered where I was, and I told her I'd been washing her car. She thanked me and said that she had wanted me to vacuum the living room, but that since I washed her car I didn't have to. I told her I would, but first I wanted to sit in front of the computer a bit. I came in and made my bed, and when I got the computer on, it was freezing and stuff, so I ran a couple of "cleaning" program thingies and went to vacuum the living room. Now the cleaning stuff is done, I'm on here saying hello, and it's nearly eleven-thirty. Like I said to Mom, (as far as physical stuff goes) I am "done" for the day.

Nice of you to wash her car! Glad you had a productive day. Myself, I am thinking about taking a nap. Lol. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I don't think that Mom could do it--she hurts in more places than I do. It's needed washing for a while, now.

LOL, well, thank you, @marlina . If you saw the rest of this house, you might not say that, but we can only do so much, huh?

I have to run the vacuum and do the few dishes I have in the sink. Short workday for me today, so I wanted to put my feet up before I started my own housework.

Yup, sometimes we need a break before we keep going.

Just reading this made me very tired. You really got a lot done. You should pat yourself on the back for all you accomplished. I would be worn out doing all that,
