RIP Prince
Oh wow, I’ve just heard the “Prince” has died, he flew back home last week not feeling to well. Aged 57.
It’s been a sad year for the music world with some of the most famous/legendary artist to passed away, David Bowie, Glenn Frey.
I had a few of Prince albums on vinyl, Loved the Purple rain album.
Also, today the director of the movie Gold Finger (James Bond), Guy Hamilton passed away ages 93.
I think I'll listen to the purple rain album on spotify
RIP Prince and Guy Hamilton

Yes, a some point it does happen to us all. I've just listened to the album, forgotten how good it was, not heard it for a few years.

I'll be watching the PBS news report. No doubt it will be thorough.

@kevin1877uk - Oh! Sorry! You're in the UK. Whenever a well-known person passes away, usually the PBS Newshour (our public news station in America) presents a detailed and thorough report of the celebrity, significant highlights of their life and career, etc. They did that tonight. I watched their report about Prince. It was very thorough. They invited Alan Light (journalist, Rolling Stone) to share his thoughts and provide a recap of Prince's musical career.
Prince, whose unique blend of funk, soul, hip-hop and pop earned him top honors in music and millions of fans worldwide, died Thursday at 57, his publicist confirmed.

I had read about Guy Hamilton passing away but at least he lived to quite a ripe old age. Prince was just 57. I wonder what the autopsy will reveal.

Yes, 93 is a good age, unlike 57, it will be interesting to see what the autopsy says.
