With Choices Come Consequences

Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people." While doing a study on righteousness, I came upon this scripture today and it sort of called out to me, so I just had to elaborate on it; knowing how our nation is in such a rebellious state against God and His laws on righteous living. Even though our elected officials attempt to amend the laws in God's Word with their own laws 'pertaining to equal rights' I just want them to know that what God said, He meant...... and God's Word will stand forever and evermore because He changes not!.... as declared in Malachi 3:6-7a, "For I am the LORD, I change not;...............
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts," and also in Heb 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." So we see clearly that the LORD changes not.... and neither does His WORD, that became flesh and dwelled amongst us as JESUS..... He changes not! And it's time we, Christians, declare the Word of God as Law and stop backing down from the truth of His Word.
If we don't defend the Word of God, are we not denying the faith and the God we claim to serve? Jesus declared in Mt 10:33, "But whosoever denies me before man, him will I deny before my Father which is in Heaven." Acceptance of unrighteous laws go against the laws of God, who is Holy and Righteous and Loving, and although God is a loving God, He cannot, and will not tolerate sin in any shape, size, or form of ungodliness. So, If we are to be a nation under God, then our nation must follow the laws of God, and stop attempting to pass laws that pervert His Word. God loves each and every one of us, His creations, but we were not created to indulge in evil standards; we were created to enjoy a righteous abundant life in Christ Jesus as one of God's children.
God created in each of us a mind to choose right from wrong; and in choosing, we must understand that we will also suffer the consequences of that choosing; right or wrong, good or bad. So when people argue that because God is a loving God He won't send people to hell; they are absolutely right.... Because people who choose to live by unrighteous standards send their own soul to Hell..... and even though it's against God's will; it's their choice, and if they choose to indulge in a life of sin and go against God's laws of righteousness; refusing to repent and heed the Spirit's warning; then that is their choice and they will suffer the consequences of that choice. Romans 10:3 tells us, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." But because of His great love, He tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14,"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
However you choose to live your life; whether under God and His righteousness, or under the laws of unrighteousness; just know that from the very beginning God wanted you to be His Child; He wanted to Love and Care for you as a Father for His children. He created you to be part of His Family and He provided every means necessary for you to become His child; if you would only choose to accept His invitation through His Son, Jesus; as He taught us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Now since He said, whosoever, that includes everyone, you and me and everyone else who will believe and accept Jesus and His righteousness. So the choice is clearly yours and mine; but as for me and my house; We choose to serve the Lord! I pray that if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that you will choose wisely and allow the Love of God to saturate your soul and enjoy a blessed life. God truly loves you and so do I~~~
