What is college teaching your kids?

United States

America has been the saving grace of many people from brutal repressive governments. Especially those who escaped from the Soviet Union to create a new life in America. Here is a youtube video of a social justice warrior (college kid) telling a man who escaped tyranny from the Soviet Union to come to the US to create a new life and start a business, that under socialism people like him would be thrown into a labor camp. Your state tax payer funded colleges are allowing this kind of ideology to be taught in schools. These idiot kids can vote and they will also be going into politics. If we don't want idiots like these in power wanting to subjugate the people and take our rights from us, then we all need to get more active in the community and more involved in the politics

I've seen significantly more of this attitude being taught by parents than schools...

@fedupjane I actually participate on another forum where trigger warnings are considered a common courtesy because of the experiences many members have dealt with. I might not agree with them, based upon certain studies I've read, but I have no problem respecting the rule there because I've dealt with situations that have triggered me in the past. It's a deep, visceral reaction that defies logical explanation. If having that sort of reaction to something that throws me back to the abuse I endured as a child makes me a 'precious snowflake,' so be it.

@yukimori I've been abused as well but I have overcome these things. The real world isn't a nice place and sometimes things that could trigger you will happen and you have no choice but to confront it. You can either master how you react to it or you will always be a victim instead of warrior.

I guess you never heard of trigger warnings and safe spaces on college campuses. This protects those precious snowflakes from hearing bad words or ideas that might frighten them.

College is not really teaching the kids new behaviors. Kids learn new stuff from the events that occur in colleges. One should use his/her freedom of choice to incline to where one thinks is the right side of the balance.

This kind of behavior is not acceptable. We have a generation of kids that can't cope with the real world. The US government was designed to protect the rights of the individual. What these idiots are embracing is far from that. Bill Ayers is a socialist that admired the soviet union and was responsible for the bombing of a judges house back in the 60's/70's while the guys son was home. He is now a professor at a university here in the States. Barack Obama ran around with guys like that when he was in college. He's also a huge fan of Che Guevara, castro's henchman who killed thousands of people. We don't do not need need that kind of ideology being taught.

@fedupjane Obama is a commie, but also tied to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Are you familiar with the proven ties between the Muslim Brotherhood and Hussein Obama's administration? Once you are aware of the hidden agenda of Obama and...

No, @quantum2020, the colleges are teaching these kids crazy behaviors. The professors are degenerates and Marxists.
