Saturday, April 23 here in Manila.
I managed to get a little creative with my breakfast today. I had my oatmeal and instead of fruits or honey or sugar for sweeteners, I added a pack of M&M chocolates.
Oatmeals aren't just easy to prepare they are extremely healthy as well. A bowl of oatmeal can lower the level of bad cholesterol and can reduce the risk of heart attack provided you have a low fat diet. You can't eat a bowl of oatmeal every breakfast and then have burgers, large fries, and a large serving of soda for lunch, snack, and dinner and expect to still be healthy.
As for M&Ms , who doesn't know about the chocolates that melt in your mouth and not in your hands. Those little chocolates wrapped in a colorful candy shell with the small letter 'm' in one side is possibly one of the more popular brands in the world.
Anyway, the oatmeal-M&Ms experiment turned out well. The hot milk of the oatmeal melted the candy shells of the M&Ms and some of the chocolates as well. It was a good breakfast that I'm having another round for my morning snack!!!

I am too full to think. We went to a German Buffet this evening. I had cherry moose which is actually a hot pudding in the Mennonite German style.

@toniganzon nice new photo sis!
Iced coffee? You are doing a disservice to coffee!
Siomai? Used to eat it before but now, I'll likely pass.

Fruits are definitely healthier Anna. Sometimes, I just want to give in to the temptation!

Right now, I'm adding either muscovado sugar or chocolate flavored condensed milk to my oats.

allen, very interesting. I have not started eating oatmeal yet. I have cereal left to use up. After finished I will eat it. I put some sugar on and boil the water and pour over the oats and will add milk and banana.

i tend to soak oatmeal overnight so that in the morning, i just add more water if needed and heat them a bit. i've added all sorts of things in the past - milk, sugar, banana, raisins, cinnamon, milo, coffee...
i've read about coffee flavored m&m here yesterday. that would be awesome!

Dump a big bag of Peanut M&M's into your popcorn next time you're at the movie's. It's really good. (If you've already done this, disregard.)
