Place your bets everyone. It's time to decide. Who will be the next President? Currently, my bet would be on Hillary Clinton. Although Bernie Sanders would be the safer choice, he will not get enough delegates to secure the nomination. Ted Cruz will fade away, but his divisiveness will not. Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination, but he has offended too many people. Also, he is all over the place on policy issues. His inexperience and habit of insulting people are alarming. Some of his proposals would bankrupt America. His total lack of understanding foreign issues is dangerous. Hillary will win, but she will need progressive support. She has plenty of vulnerabilities, but in the end she will be the next President. Tell me who you predict will be the next President.

I like Hilary to be the President too.
She is very consistent, and you know her standpoint on many major issues.
I think Trump has a chance of winning because he promised to bring the jobs back.
I think for us in Asia, we do not like Trump to win.
He does not support free market economy, and that is very bad for international trade and diplomatic relationship.

@sheng1 I truly appreciate your opinion. It is sometimes so much clearer when you are not in the middle of all of it. I did wonder how Trump was being perceived outside of this country. I agree too that the inflammatory comments from him and other candidates are not serving them well. On that note, I do think Hillary Clinton carries herself and presents well for the United States.

@desertdawg Hillary is fortunate in that Clinton was a good President compared to the two Bush.
Trump is a very smart person, and his speech and candor reflected his background in the construction industry.

I prefer Bernie as well. I like his honesty and his positions on issues.

I am with you, Hillary will most likely be the next president, but could see Trump winning with how low the voter turn out will be because so many care for neither. Which ever of the two wins will most likely be a one term president. If Trump becomes president, I could see him easily get impeached. I would rather have Bernie, but pretty much knew he would not win. The country is just not set up for him to get it.

I wanted Bernie, but I don't see it happening.

Which ever one wins the nomination should choose the other as running mate. I think it would be a good balance. Sure, there have been many harsh words thrown between them during these primaries, but they were loved and respected friends before it all started.

I don't believe Hillary will ever make Bernie her choice for VP. I don't think Bernie would accept.

I do not see it happening either. In my opinion, Bernie's temperament has been his downfall... and inability to lay out specifics.

I think you are correct that Hillary Clinton will be our next president. In my humble opinion she deserves the nomination over Bernie Sanders who may have fine ideals but lacks in any real know how as how to get there. Also his campaign has gotten a little nasty and desperate and they say a "fish rots from the head". I think he knows he is done and perhaps that explains the increase in the nasty factor. Divisiveness never helps a political party. Look at Cruz and Trump.

The United States of America and the entire world would be at a risk if Trump won. On that note, I believe that Bernie Sanders would have been a good choice except he barely stands a chance. Hillary Clinton isn't all that bad either.
