Darn It GOW!

By GOW I mean Gears of War which is a video game. I have only played one of the games with my fiance and I am dying to play the rest of them. All of the games story lines really tug at your emotions and the ads that they give for them, such as Gears of War 4 which is the next one coming out, are so sad. They just make me want to cry.
Have you played any of the games or seen the ads? Do you get saddened by the story or ads?

I've never played it myself, but I've watched my brother play them, and just by the graphics alone, I want to play ! I haven't really paid attention to the storylines yet, because I don't want to get interested and then not be able to play. So I'm waiting until I get the games for myself before getting completely immersed in the game.
