How long before?

We had only been dating a few weeks when we first said it. After about two months of going out we got engaged. At the time I was very nervous about it, and determined to not marry someone I had known less than a year, so I set a wedding date about 13 months from the time we got engaged. In retrospect I don't know who I was kidding with that. From the moment we got engaged the wedding plans began. I went shopping and bought a dress almost immediately. Plans were finalized, deposits were paid... I never had any intention of not marrying him. Nearly six years later we are still married, with an amazing four year old son. We bicker at times, but we are both determined to make it stick. In fact, even when we're bickering, we still say those words, because they're still true.
