Hi there
I will be happy to teach you if you are interested. When people read the books in conjunction with the cards, their readings are false, and it is no more than plagiarism from one persons thoughts on the subject to another - this tends to lead to a viscious circle. When you read correctly, you should find that each card is unique, as unique as each person asking for a reading, then and only then will you start to amaze yourself and the people you read for. The books have only one good purpose and that is to describe what is printed on each card. When it comes to the divinations printed on the pages, its time to close the book, or throw it away!
Let me know if you have a set of cards, and which type, and which spread, if any, you have used.

Visit your local bookstore, or buy online. look at as many decks as you can and buy the one that is most appealing to you, or the one that you feel you will be more cumfy with.
Indian Shaman Cards are also very good, but for the novice reader, very difficult to read at times. Try something like the Mythical Greek Deck, its quite easy to learn by.

I was never fond of the Celtic Cross spread myself though it was the first spread I learned to use..and in all honesty Ive never paid for a reading, I dont accept money for readings either but that of course is a personal choice...I do and have shown ppl how to do it themselves though which I (again personal choice) think is the best way....In all reality nobody can interpret and apply anything like that (numerology, astrology, tarot, dream analysis etc etc) to their lives better than themselves ya know....

Maybe "interpret" is the wrong word...basically what I'm saying is nobdy can know themselves better than themself but I agree that wearing blinders and having tunnel vision is definately hinders...Unfortunately in the world that is such commonplace..sad really considering if ppl took the blinders off and looked beyond the bubble so to speak things would be so much better.....Moving on though, do you use the same deck for each person or do you have various ones for them to choose from etc? I like to let ppl choose (though I dont have a lot of decks I have a few)....What about spreads? do you prefer to give ppl an option? btw definately let me know when you do have enough ppl ;)

I've never had any problem in reading the cards. For many years I did "blind readings" - that is to say I would read the cards alone without a sitter, and my accuracy was always very good, (based on feedback).
Basically, a reading is only as good as the reader and his or her own experience at interpreting the cards - but in saying that, there is more to reading than just interpretation. People who only interpret, are people who suffer from tunnel vision, they only see the light at the end of the tunnel instead of taking everything else into account, which is very sad. If I can get enough people interested I will be happy to share my methods, and teach what I can, perhaps you may like to join that circle when we have enough interested people.

I have two decks that I use. I normally go by the feeling I recieve from someone where choosing the deck is concerned. I dont offer people the choice of which deck as I believe that is my choice as the reader.
What I do normally ask of people is that they pose a serious question, and choose 10 cards from 1 to 78 in any order.
As for using the Celtic Cross - this is my preferred spread, because it is a good all-rounder that takes into account many aspects of life, past and present.
Added to this, I also work with Spirit, and as such, I often recieve information from a persons friends and loved ones on the other side, this sometimes can help readings enormously, as it gives the added unknown factor of "how does he/she know that, we've never met?" So far, the people I've read for have been very happy with their results, and are often bewildered at the amount of facts that come across from the other side, although I do tell them who, if anyone, does come through.

Hi there
The average price online for tarot readings varies, basically it depends on the site and how much they want to charge - usually their prices are scandalous. I charge £10 pounds (UK) for a reading which is roughly £15-25 cheaper than most. As for my site and my two lady friends in canada who do the numerology, I believe they charge about $10, but if you contact either of them they will tell you directly, they were thinking of doing readings via donations so that animal charities could benefit - contact them see what they say.
