Dislike option on FaceBook or not?

Do you think it will cause drama and anger or do you think it's a good idea for the content posters to know what people dislike?

I think it is good for the their records to know what you like the most than what you dislike. It helps them keep track of you as a client.

That is true but do you think only professional fan pages should have the special privilege. It might cause drama among friends on normal Facebook accounts.

@quantum2020 A dislike option does not exist. I would like to know if it would be a good idea to add one. That is very true. Privileged accounts should be created, I guess.

@MikeTheKnight I don´t think it is a good idea to add one. There is people who are not yours or anybody´s friends but only acquaintances. Some people could be abusing the option.

I don't like the idea of it. There's already so much bullying on the internet already. A dislike button is just another form of bullying.

But do you think that on artist sites that it will be a good idea to know what people like or dislike? Should a dislike option be a special privilege for certain accounts?

@MikeTheKnight Good question. Well....for the artist itself yeah maybe it will be a good idea but as a viewer like me, if I was on YouTube to look at music ( for example ) I honestly don't care about others opinions. If I like it, I like it. If I don't then I don't. No one really has to know.

@VivaLaDani13 I guess the saying ''If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all'' fits here nicely.

I think for some it's a great idea but for others like me, I think I would get confused. Like, if I post something and someone hits the dislike button, are they disliking what I post or agreeing with me that its a disliked topic. Just something to think about and I think with the new options now facebook doesnt need the dislike button.

@MikeTheKnight I understand better now. Yeah true. I like that idea better for business, songwriters/singers, and things like that rather than my own personal page though.

@MooreLoven13 Privileged accounts sound like the best option here. Thank you.
