Prescribing Drugs

I have to thank Deborah Diane for reminding me about the doctors who prescribe drugs for their patients.
When I saw my doctor last week and told her my pain is becoming worse could she prescribe something for me she said.
"Her group had just had a talk about how many people who have children, the kids take their pain pills and that is how the problems start".
There are no children at my house so that is not a problem and she did prescibe a drug for me but I had problems with it so now she has prescribed a pain patch.

There is always someone who could use them if I can't.

The medicine bottles of pain pills normally have a design that defies kids' attempts to open it.The pain patch may do its work if you stick them on acupoints

Medications can, indeed, present some issues. But without any of them, life would be much, much worse. The thing is this: Joe and Suzy NoExperience have become the alternative treatment team with their opinions and online "research."

@KuznVinny
I don't understand who are Joe and Suzy and if they have no experience how could they help anyone.

@Marcyaz Exactly. Yet they are willing to diagnose or offer medical suggestions. Don't know about this? Research, for two examples, alkaline water and colloidal silver.

I never once thought it would be ok to take mom or dad's prescription meds!

I'm confused - the doctor said that to you? Or Deborah Diane said her group said that. If it was the doctor, doesn't she know you don't have children living at home any longer? There wouldn't be any danger of your children taking your pain medication.

I hope it helps you out!
I hardly take anything no matter how much something hurts like stomach, back or headache. Taking medications is my very last resort.

Well, it's just best to hide those pills if there's children around. I hope you don't get addicted using the pain patch.

If you don't require pain meds and you ask an ethical doc for them, you won't get them. The problem is too many unethical docs which leads to all kinds of pain med abuse.
