What Do You Say?

April 25, 2016 11:22am CST
OK so I know this is my second post in quick succession, I'm probably going to shut up soon by the way . I am aware before I continue this will show you guys how sad I am but hey we all say stuff in our head from films or TV shows! So sometimes when I'm a bit fed up and there's a problem I say to myself "W.W.G.D?" (A line from ncis what would Gibbs do?), not as an actual problem solving thing, but more of a mood brightener thing. What do you guys say to yourselves from films or TV and when?

I usually use the line from breaking bad's character Jesse Pinkman which is 'what's up biatch?' I know it's silly but I like that character a lot.....

I don't usually say things from TV shows but my husband does a lot. Half the time I have no idea where it came from because he watches many old movies and shows. Lol.

Sometimes older shows can be good :), although I don't watch much TV (NCIS is one of the few I watch). So I think half the time I would be in the same boat as you with him :)

Imagine, not each member of the site is from your country and understands the abbreviations used there. I have no idea what this post is about.

There's only one abbreviation that's not a line from a TV show, it's not so much of an abbreviation but a contraction and it's I'm. So I'm not entirely certain what you mean by abbreviations? As I said there's one abbreviation which is from a TV show and one contraction, there's also a few contractions in this comment but no abbreviations :)

@Brodiedo83 I see now that I've misunderstood your text. I stumbled over W.W.G.D. You've explained it in the following sentence. I didn't get it at once because you didn't use capital letters. My bad. As I haven't got the foggiest idea who this Gibbs character is, the post still has no meaning for me and other members from Gibbs-free countries. Btw, what does 'ncis' mean here. "...A line from ncis..."?

@MALUSE it's a TV show :). It's on fox in the UK and I think in America, aswell as on on the countless channel 5's in the UK :)
