yes there is a risk of losing earnings through inactivity.
Mylot terms say this "Any myLot account without activity for greater than 6 months, risks the forfeiture of any accumulated myLot Earnings, at the sole discretion of myLot;"
This is from the mylot terms.

@Mike197602 The Terms do allow MyLot to reset earnings but I don't believe they have ever implemented it.

The above statement basically says that there is a chance of losing your earnings if you are not active for six months. That is under the discretion of MyLot.
So, it's pretty subjective. If you are not active for six months or more, you run the risk of losing your accumulated earnings.
But, it doesn't mean you'll automatically lose it if you are not active for six months.
I wasn't active for almost 4 years and I just got back today. Looks like I still have a few cents in my account. So, I'm pretty happy that they didn't erase my earnings nor did they delete my account.

it will just continue. it has no expiration. if you leave $1 today and you check you account again after 6 months, it might increase to almost 2 dollars or less but will not reset to 0.

i think if you stay inactive for over a period of 6 months they will deactivate your account. but if you have stayed off myot for that long i don't think you care about whatever balance you have.
