how do you deal with kid's lie

sometimes i found my kid tell me a lie, such as cellphone game, he will play it while i am out, but he told me not do this when i speak with him, he never admit this.
i know lie is not good for kids, but how should i tell him? i have no idea, pls share your idea.

How old is he? My son is 12 now but I could really tell when he's lying. And when he does I tell him I know it's a lie so he better admit it or he'll never be able to play games anymore.

@westlake007 my son understood me when he was 2. I trained him to understand me and not lie at the age of 1 that's why it wasn't difficult for me to raise him. So at this age he couldn't seem to lie at me that easily.
