I agree with @sunrisefan. It is believed that animals dont have souls. However, human is the highest form of animals. So for the purpose of discussion it will lead to a new theory if animals dont have souls and humans are animals so does it mean humans have no souls??

Good addition :) Yes, human are animals too but they are the highest form and that means they are at a certain class and that class has the soul as compared to the classes lower than it without souls.

@sunrisefan so meaning it is the souls that make us different from them? I always thought it was our inteligence that separate us from them. Good point tho.

@rona07 Animals have some for of intelligence but ours is the highest. Look at a dog. It won't recognize you as its owner if it does not have a bit of intelligence.

Animals are only made of flesh while humans are made of flesh and spirit/soul.

Being raised in a Christian family, it was believed non human animals have no souls. I always thought that was bs though. My parents have also changed their view on that over the years.

we think that we are the highest souls. Animals do think that they are the highest souls. How can you say that animals do not have souls? They got their own parameters of viewing at things and viewing at life. We got our own. the only common things is both are having life.
