We Have to Travel Today

As some of you know, hubby and I have a vending machine business. We have several pop machines and snack machines in different businesses around town. Our inventory is running low and it is time to go to Sam's Club in Denton, Texas today to re-stock our supplies. There are supposed to be some severe storms come through the area today and I am really hoping we can get to Denton and back before the storms start. The weatherman has been reporting that there may be tornadoes in some of these storms and I am deathly afraid of tornadoes! The last thing I was to happen is for us to be on the road and tornadoes in the area! We are going to try to leave early this morning and get back before the storms start. It takes about 1 1/2 to get there, another hour to stock up and then 1 1/2 hours to get back. I hope the weatherman is correct about his timing of these storms!

The vending machines in our office always run out of stocks within 2 days. The servicing guys have to come in 3 times a week to replenish the items. I think they are making good money off my colleagues.

We have 3 machines that we have to run twice a week. I would just put in another machine before I would run them 3 times a week!

@sgbrown I think if you put the machine near high school, you will have to stock up twice a day!!

@scheng1 There is a larger vending company in town that already has the high school, hospital and larger business as customers. Hubby and I aren't really looking for that much business, we are retired and want something that we can work just a couple of days a week. Thank you for the suggestion!

@LadyDuck Thank you! The storm wasn't as bad as predicted, at least not here, and we got home before it began.

I hope you're able to get everything done before any storms head your way. Tornadoes are dangerous and you certainly want to make sure you're somewhere safe.

Thank you, @Teep11 We have made it back home and no storms yet! We have a storm cellar so I feel fairly safe when I am home.

Hope you can make your run to Sams Club safely, get your supplies and be home without hitting any storms. I'm deathly afraid of tornadoes and I don't even live in a tornado area

Thank you, @Marilynda1225 We have made it back home safely and did not run into any storms along the way. Still no storms here, it looks like they may be another couple of hours away.

I do so hope you miss the storms. I wouldn't like to be in a vehicle in these types of storms either.
