Too Wet for Doodles and Yours Truly

Finally, a wet day! We've had nothing but sunshine and warm temperatures for almost two weeks. Our new lawn needed a big drink! It was too wet to walk this morning, so I texted my friends that I'd be using my treadmill for a couple of hours. They agreed to forgo our walk, too. Doodles, the cat, insisted on taking a look outside, but decided to come into the house after a quick look at the gorgeous flowering shrubs. My sports car is in the shop and we're waiting for an estimate on getting our back deck sanded and stained. Meanwhile, I have some notifications to get to. Have a nice day!

Thank you! It's an early type of rhododendron. We have so many, just for that first blast of Spring color. And I'm Dianne! Lol! My hubs thought my name was Nancy when we first were introduced, because my friend, Nancy, was sitting next to me. You could call me whatever you'd like.

My little Brie will stick her paw out and if it is raining she will turn around and say "no way am I going out". I however had to go to a Parkinson's exercise class with hubs.

@jaboUK Yes, other types of rhododendrons have larger leaves and flowers. We have many of those, too, but they won't bloom for at least another month.

Thank you. He belongs to my son, but doesn't get along with his fiancé's cat. So it is our pleasure to keep him until we return to Florida. Her mother will then take her male cat, and Doodles will go back to his daddy. It works!
