Don't look back. That's not the way you're headed.

In my travels I passed be a law office today with an electronic sign. That was what the sign had on it. I thought the advice was so good it needed to be shared. I'm sure it was referring to a specific problem. It can be used as an in-general statement as well.

Can you imagine if you do literally look back, you will run into all kinds of things and never see what is in front of you. LOL

I was thinking of this as being a general statement. I like it, too. People shouldn't be too hung up on their pasts but rather focusing on the present and future. I wonder why the electronic sign would say that atthe law firm? What kind of point do you think they were trying to get across?

I'm not sure what type of lawyer they were, but maybe they were telling people to watch where they are going. Maybe they are giving relationship advice. You don't want your icky spouse, forget them. You need a divorce so you can find someone else to marry. Get a prenuptial first. Our firm does all. Since all that couldn't fit on their sign they took the easy road. LOL

@maezee Well, whatever they meant, they are sure to have gotten people talking. LOL That's always a good thing.

I could think of many other options... Don't look back...you might see who wants to kidnap you...(somebody kidnapped somebody today...so don't blame me for that) Don't look back...your neck bone will break... Don't look back... you will realize you are not doing a good job of cleaning your back.. Don't look back...you will be shocked at what is missing there..(applicable only to ladies) Don't look back...because you can't do it anyway.. lol

@mommaj I love those Scooby Doo cartoons when the winter scenes were on and the skis went on either side of the tree. Only on a cartoon Life however might be hazardous if we always look behind and never forward. I have enough hazardous waste in my life, so I'm keeping my attention forward.

I sort of chuckled but it is very true. Many who get in predicaments like that simple need to go in a different direction.

It's great advice. We need to look ahead or at least live in the present. We can't do anything about the past.
