Emotionally drained

I know this won't get a whole lot of discussion going, that's not really the point of this. I just needed to write it out loud. So yesterday was a really bad day for me, for those that are my friends on Facebook you may have seen me post about it. For those that are not; yesterday I found out that my very best friend for over 15 years was found dead one state over from us. Now, her and I didn't keep in constant contact anymore; she had a job and two beautiful girls to take care of and I was always busy with my writing and other endeavors that now after her death I want to put a rush on. But we were still the best of friends and talked online and over the phone. The last time I spoke with her was maybe a month ago, before I left for Louisville and she had told me (or at least put up a front) that she was doing alright, I know now that she was probably doing alright just for that moment. I don't want to give out too much information about her or the case but according to the autopsy she was beaten (or bludgeoned), strangled, and thrown from the interstate between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, LA into Whiskey Bay. I just can't understand why someone would do that to her, she was the sweetest person that you ever wanted to be around and she never did anything to anybody. She loved her babies, was a great mom, and a hard worker. I'm just really hoping they find who did this to my friend... no.... my SISTER. Because we need closure and justice for a beautiful lost angel.
