Kids need your time .Toys you bring with your money can be worthful if you spend some time playing with them .They really need your care and love and on the top your time.In today'world parents are busy earnings to bring so many things for their child to play but in this race have forgotten that child need their attention as well otherwise one day will come theyeven don't have the time for you when you need and they will be also spending money for your medicine just for the sake that you are their parents but will have no time to spend with you .
Think about it.....

Yes i agree. We have 9 children and I do my best to give each child their alone time with me everyday. Even if it is just talking. It's important.

Tangible things can make a child happy temporarily only. It is of prime importance to make a child realize the meaning of real happiness that the child can bring with him or her until old age. This one can only be realized if parents will spend quality time with their kids.
These kids are fast growing up. No one can go back to his or her childhood state. It will really be a good thing for parents to make time to raise their kids in love and understanding.

My sentiments exactly! I have always been a believer of the fact that we have kids to make our family complete. But what is the point if we never have time for them? Life is very unpredictable and sometimes can be very short-lived. So it does seem to makes more sense to spend whatever time you can and help to enhance the growth of your children in a very healthy manner - rather than justify your earnings by pampering them with toys and modern gadgets. As they grow older, they will outgrow materialistic things, but love and knowledge that is received from a parent is never lost in time.

No doubt children need parents at every stage of their growth more so during early years. For working women it is a tough balancing act, because they feel guilty all the time not being able to spend enough time with the child, at the same time unable to give up their job for any number of reasons. So, they try to compensate by buying toys . It is a sad state of affairs, so you need to think a hundred times before deciding to have a child of your own and make all the necessary preparations ...Ideally if you can take leave or work from home for the first two years things would not be so stressful for the mother.

@sangeeta6 When they are very young and totally dependent quantity matters but as they grow up and become more independent, they don't want parents around them all the time

Yeah ,I can understand that working women do face problem but it's not the quantity but the quality of time we have to spend with our kids that matters.

I agree, my family didn't make a lot of money growing up, but my mom also spent time with me, in all reality, as I look back on my childhood, I am happy my mom spent time with my family because I really didn't really notice the lack of money, as much as I noticed the quality time with my family.
