I have decided to start a collection, probably not the most adult collection ever, but I have had a weird obsession with Reborn Dolls for awhile, and I learned that Ashton-Drake (the doll people) make cheaper, and they are very life like.
My problem I'm having is, I want to give my doll a name (it's the one in the photo), and I'm stuck on a name. I thought it was tough having my own kids and picking out a name but right now, I'm actually stuck on a name.
Does anyone else collect dolls as an adult? And what made you start collecting?

My daughter started collecting stamps. She is 8 years old now. She ask me for an album where she could put the stamps.
I used to collect pencil with a logo of the country where it was bought.

I like dolls but i don't collect one. If the doll you mentioned is available in my country i might get one. I have another kind of collection though.

@kevin1877uk Men? Kidding! I collect planners and journals. I have filofax planners in different sizes, color and leather. I also like the brand Kikki.k. And the Midori from Japan. Every time I see a new one I simply can't resist but it hurts my pocket a lot I just have to stop buying them.

Hi there. I like the idea. I too am a doll lover but not a collector. I have only one piece of that baby doll. My daughter is having it now. I just do the washing of it's clothes. We change the baby doll clothes very now and then.

@polyxena I think your babies new born clothes would fit. That was the ones we used to dress the doll.

@jndlponti I never had any girls. And I don't have any clothes left from when my kids were younger.

@IvySaysHi Yeah, now that I read it, it sounds very creepy, maybe I'll skip the breathing doll part. I rather not be bothered by a creepy doll.

I do not collect dolls. I am afraid of them.

The doll in the photo is very life like but it isn't the cutest one I've seen. When I was young I remember going trick or treating at a woman's house and she had us come inside for the candy. Inside all around the house were collectible life like dolls like this.
