Today April 28 is just getting started, so this is for yesterday, April 27. It was a good day. I didn't spend as much time here as I planned, but I still managed to get all my notifications done just now. I think all of you are either in bed or enjoying a lovely day outside as it is very quiet at this moment. I had an appointment at the hospital for a mammogram. I was late, but not too late. So all went well. They said they would call if there was something to worry about. I didn't get any call, so nothing to worry about. I did take a short nap as I was falling asleep at my computer. That felt good. The AWANA closing ceremony was so much fun! After giving out the awards to all the kids, who all got something even for participation if they didn't finish their book, and there was one young man - a sixth grader who got a Timothy Award for finishing all of his books - that is from the beginning level of Cubbies (3 &4 year olds) all the way through T&T (Sixth graders). Next year he'll be part of another group called EPIC for seventh and above. After the awards were handed out they had a puppet program called Hairy and Company. It was hilarious and so much fun, incorporating memorization, songs and good hilarity with the puppets. So that was my day today. It was a good day, and I'm hoping for another good day tomorrow. I'm not doing anything in particular - have nothing planned, so I'll be here a good portion of the day. I hope you're all having a good day or night wherever you are. Thanks for reading.
