How are you handling being a single mother, or father?

@cynthi25 My mom is a single parent and I know that it was not easy on her. As the eldest son, I tried my best and still trying my best to help her out. I salute to all single parents who have done good to their children.

@mhike_ghelo Yes, it's not eas. I can imangine that it is very fulfilling to see your children grow up to be responsible and productive individuals in society, especially after overcoming the challenges a parent faces while trying to raise and provide for the children.

I am sorry, I don't know, but I think it is hard or not depends on the personal.

@ srisahara I agree. I recently became a mother and so far parenting has been challenging. Parenting has its high and low moments but many a times it can get really difficult.

@cynthi25 Yes, you are right. Become a mother is not an easy responsibility. Once we have a child we will think about him/her throughout our live, even most of parent who will die, they still think about their children. Isn't it?

@srisahara that's true. As mothers, the most important people in our lives are our children. The love we have for our children is what gives us the strength and motivation to look after them, care for them, and provide for them-even when things get so difficult.

I'm not a single mother or father, so I can't answer the question.

I was a single mother for twelve years. It was the hardest period of my life. I love my children, but the financial aspect of it was terrible. Also, it was impossible to have time or energy for everything I needed to do. On the other hand, I learned a lot about myself I never would have known otherwise. It made me very strong. I think I appreciate my husband more after having had that experience.

A Frischy I can relate. It is very difficult. At times I wonder what it would be like if I had a supportive partner. Not to mention the financial aspect of it-being constantly broke. Nonetheless, being a mother has made a stronger person. I am also more hard working. I love my baby so much.
