STRATEGIES.

How's your day going? I had a list of chores to do but when I awoke I had no wish to do much of anything. However I gave myself a stern talking to and started my day...with a coffee and some myLotting. Then I did one of my chores and was also distracted by a couple of smaller ones then I felt like iI deserved a break so I had another coffee and worked here for a bit. I moved some furniture and vacuumed the lounge room and part of the dining room and then feeling tired, I took a break and had another coffee and here I am again. Now I have some serious thinking to do as I decide what to have for lunch as it's that time. What strategies (if any) do you have for getting through your day?

Natutuwa akong makausap ka. I have a routine of chores that I do each day. Every Monday, I have a certain schedule I follow. Tuesday something different. Each day has it's own schedule and I feel so good at the end of the week, when everything I planned to gets done.

When we know that we have been productive then we felt good. Life is short to waste on things that are not necessary. I am blessed that I have been busy too because it means I have my jobs where I can get money for us to survive and buy what we need.

@annierose yes life is short but i believe we need to have values and standards so what is unnecessary for some may be vital to others. Blessed be.

Man proposes, god disposes, give glare to gods at times...they just might relent.

I was tired and didn't wear any makeup yesterday so I went to bed last night without taking a shower before. I hate when I do that. I like to shower every night before bed. So today I did the dishes then took a shower. That took up a lot of my online time. I was waiting for a friend to get a hold of me so I could run a present down to her house for her daughter but she just got a hold of me now asking if I could bring it another day. Her husband might pick it up on the way home from work that would make it easier for us both.

I haven't been able to get into a true routine but when i have my day semi-organised and am interrupted it really throws a spanner in my works.

I often fill my day in this way. I'll go off and do a bit of housework then come back here for a while. MyLotting beats housework any day doesn't it?

I always make a list in the morning of the things/work i have to get done by the end of the day. Keeping a look at the list every now and then keeps me going.

I usually start my day with a prayer to say praise, thanks and ask for guidance to our God above. After that, I will placed the pillows, blankets and mats on its proper places in the room and I will head to the dining room. My mom always make sure that we eat our breakfast before we do our other tasks. It is now what they called "summer vacation" here but I don't think so it is a vacation for me. I am obliged still to report to work. Whenever there is no need for me to report to work, I will just spend my whole day in our house helping my mom. Once I have a free time, I will just do mylotting or go to bitlanders.

I tend to have a (mental) list of things I must get done. Then I try to add a couple of "got that done as well"s. Then I relax and listen to or play music.

Oh yes, I write the add ons onto my list and cross them off. The bigger the list crossed off the more noble I feel.
