#8 in my Top 10 Favorite Reggae Songs series returns us from England to Jamaica.
Winston Foster, better known as Yellowman, is a dancehall toaster with a sense of humor that often shows up in his songs.
Yellowman started recording in 1974. Ten years later, he released one of his best records, Nobody Move Nobody Get Hurt.
Backed by the Roots Radics, Nobody Move Nobody Get Hurt is highlighted by the title track, an amusing ditty about Yellowman getting pulled over by the cops.
Musically, the tune has less to do with dancehall as it does the dub and roots bed laid down by the Roots Radics.
I love Yellowman, and "Nobody Move Nobody Get Hurt" is my favorite by him. The guy has a huge catalogue, which makes it tough to pick a favorite, but I find that this is the Yellowman song I play the most.

@teamfreak16 it's a lot different from the normal reggae because I think it was more of a comical essence.... What you say?

He's not exactly a household name, other than with serious reggae fans.
