Okay, so I need some help. I have a project due on Wednesday and the topic is 'Women and Nationalism'.
I am supposed to submit an original artwork on the topic, which can be a photograph, poster, graphics or sketch.
The topic is really interesting and I am really eager to do it but it's a little complicated too. I am clueless about what I should do.
Can you people suggest anything? Like what sort of picture I might draw or if I go for a photograph what kind of scene it should portray. My fellow myLotters seem to be intelligent people and I know I might receive some excellent ideas.

Okay, this is your assignment, how did you come to have this topic? What are you planning to learn about by doing this? If this was my project I would first look to the history of my area. Then I would look for specifically women and role they played in the local history and politics. Then I would look for artwork as it related to a particular woman or group of women.

look at old wartime posters depicting women and do something in a similar style - a famous one was called Rosie The Rivetter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosie_the_Riveter#/media/File:We_Can_Do_It!.jpg
