Can It Really Be?

So for the last week it has been cool and rainy. At nights we're still using our wood burning stove because it's still cool!! The lows are getting down into the low 40's- mid 30's.
I just heard we might get some SNOW this weekend!! Oh, my goodness this is the end of April!! I do remember having a snow/ice storm one time here in Nebraska the first of April, but he end of April? So much for global "warming!!"

Ugh! Snow? It's time for spring shows. We have gray skies today but they are turning blue.

Yeah, in a couple of weeks it will be time to plant garden!! Oh, shoot..I'll have to bring my flowers that I started inside!!

It was unheard of for the temperature to have been 73°F on Christmas here in the mountains of Virginia too, but it sure was. Today, it is 77°F.

We're lucky to be 43 degrees, of course with the wind chill it only feels like about 32 degrees!!

@STOUTjodee That's my kind of weather, for sure! I am much happier when it is 50°F or less.

I like snow, but I think I know where you are coming from snow in late April or even in May is just too late for the white stuff. I do remember living in Western PA in the late seventies we did have a freak snowstorm very early April and it melted two days later and left a lot of mud.
