Positive thinking - it does help in the betterment of life.

Life as we know it would be so much better if we could use positivity in every little thing that we do. We usually tend to focus on the negatives of any given situation and dwell on it for days to come. We find reasons to complain and people to blame, almost never looking at the good side of a bad situation.
Let’s take for example losing a job. Yup! Obviously you were the hard worker and didn’t deserve to be fired. There were so many slackers that got away with doing nothing, but yet the boss picked on you. You gave them your very best and didn’t deserve to be thrown out like a piece of garbage…. And this can go one. There is a lot of name calling and revealing of internal secrets each and every time you narrate your plight. Am I not right here?
But let’s try and look at the brighter side of things. This job - What did it give you when you did have it. For one – it gave you a source of income for the amount of time you contributed your services and you have the satisfaction of job security. You gained experience and knowledge along the way. For some, you may have found your life partner and for all you definitely increased your friend circle. You have memories to add to your book of life – even though all may not be pleasant ones.
Yes- it’s sad. You are jobless at the moment. But did you ever stop to think that your life would not encompass the above (and more) if you did not have it to begin with? Like everything, nothing in life is permanent. We have to learn to accept whatever comes our way by making sure we find a positive thread to hang on to. There is always the silver lining – we just have to look for it.
