Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Many of you here are proud parents of pet babies, and I am sure will have a say on this.
While dogs are faithful, devoted, loving creatures, cats tend to be more arrogant and mysterious.
And that's what I love about cats! It's like you have to work hard to gain their love and you will have a hard time figuring out what's going on in their minds. I love dogs too, but I would like to call myself a cat person.
So are you a cat person or a dog person?

I am a dog person. Well, I love dogs for being faithful and loyal. It will not steal my food from me.

I like both but I am more a cat person, mainly because I have a cat like personality. I only warm up to people when I want to, they love to sleep, and I love to sleep. I like to stay by myself, and I really don't like being touched unless I'm given permission.

Oh my god, we're so similar! I love to sleep, I like spending time with myself, and hate being touched, too! So happy to meet you!

@arthurchappell Oh wow! He is almost my age! That's quite old for a cat life. I hope he lives longer with good health.

I am neither of the two . But my husband is both . However , his dogs are being taken cared by his cousin because we don't like them in the house . The local dogs who serves as guards in our premises are just outside the front yard and backyard.

Hello Dishari,
Would it startle you to learn that I am neither a dog person or a cat person?
I've had both dogs and cats as pets when I was younger, but I raise fish and shrimp for pets now. The fish and shrimp don't make a big mess when they get rambunctious and don't eat me out of house and home in less than a week, either!
If I am forced to choose between having a cat or a dog as my pet, I would probably choose the cat. Cars are independent and can mostly take care of themselves but unless they are allowed to grow up wild, dogs need man's help occasionally.
So, have you ever (or do you now) own fish or Ghost Shrimp and keep them as pets?

I am surely a cat person, because I like their mysterious and curious nature, and somehow they are quite fine when even left alone for long time.
The way they manage themselves is also phenomenal.
The more you try to understand cats, the more it makes curious.
