How do you like a trip in the observation wheel ?

Sometimes i think that it would be nice to have a trip in the observation wheel and enjoy watching all the scene around from this big machine. However, it is so expensive to get up there and just 5-10 minutes may cost you quite a lot of money to spin slowly only once or twice. During the holidays, you might have to line up for an hour before you van get up to this big turning wheel. That's why I prefer to stay on the ground and enjoy everything for free. How about you? The observation wheels are popular these days, and I see more set up in Shanghai. Several years ago, in one of them, meal was served for couples on the facility, very much welcomed at a holiday fair.
The most famous one might be the London Eye. And it is said the Dubai Eye is on the waiting list. It seems mostly for the young people. I would not try it for my age, sorry.

That wheel in the photo above looks too high for me. I have a fear of heights. That would scare me a lot to ride on it.
