BTW, congratulations to you and your husband on your marriage! I am also recently married; although we didn't have to way anywhere as long as you did. I am glad things are changing so that no one has to wait that long again!

There are a good many from Bubblews here.

@Frischy A lot of people were not happy. But they got away with it. There was another writing site that owed me when they went out of business. They did not pay.

@akalinus Someday there will be a way to pursue justice when things like this happen. For now, we are simply at their mercy.

I ended up losing a few hundred dollars when they decided not to pay us. I was pretty unhappy about that.

@Frischy Which one is that? I like to keep up with this things.

That is what I am doing too. Yes, I have been on at least three sites that have closed, and one that I am on now seems to be struggling.

I have found quite a few today. It's a lot of fun.

@Frischy YIKES! The famous New Year's Eve bombshell. I can't say that I blame you.I would have been furious. I was never a high earner there. I think in the year and a half or so that I was there, I earned about $200. They paid me all that I was due, but I knew far too many people who didn't get what they were promised to stick around after my last payout. I think I walked away from 60¢ or so. One guy I knew had his account deleted without warning just as he was about to cash out. Uh-huh. Another guy I knew in Kenya was owed several hundred dollars. That money would have gone a long way for him. He kept getting promises. In the end, he didn't even get that.

I left around that same time. Whenever it was that they said they were not going to pay anyone the money they owed. They owed me a few hundred dollars. I needed that money, and worked hard for it. I was mad about that.
