These days everywhere I see are nothing but watermelons. Not even the mangoes are getting sold that much lately. Most of the people are going for the watermelon juice and the salad. i think it is less costly too compared to mangoes. I don't know what is the condition of market in your area but we have lot of watermelons here. :D

@skysnap Yes, they are not sweet when artificially made to ripe sooner than it should be

@SIMPLYD nd the worst part about them, they get wasted quickly.

Yes mangoes are expensive and also these days mangoes are artificially riped. so they don't taste good.

Here maybe the watermelon season is still on the way. I don't often see the watermelons yet. But once I see them, they are quite expensive now. So I buy other fruits which are in the right season.

@skysnap I think so. For example, the mango is about 14 yuan/kg here but the watermelon charges the similar price. However, a kilogram of watermelon is nothing

@youless yes weightwise watermelon always gets the edge. and should not be charged on weight because we can't decide taste of it that way.

I think that is good. When you have a lot of watermelons, you can buy at a very low price. It is good for hot weather too.

Watermelon is indeed very tasty if made of juice drinks, especially in the dry season and the weather is hot. Virtually every traditional market some that sells a lot of watermelon. The price is also not so expensive.

i like watermelons especially if they are so juicy. water and electrolytes here give us our doses, and it also quenches our thirst and makes us refreshed as well.

We have not seen watermelons like this in Senegal. They only have tiny ones, and they are expensive I think. There are mangoes, bananas, apples, limes and cantaloupe here.
@skysnap (20153)

cantaloupe is rare here. and we rarely get it.
