Good morning. This saying sort of bugs me.How did this get started? Was it from a movie,if so do you know the name of the movie. When Tuesday rolls around,I always say that this must be Belgium. The flowers are my birthday flowers. The wording is long.I could not spell it. So my friends any idea the name of this flower?

I remember that movie and it was about a group of American tourists taking a whirlwind bus tour through Europe so I guess that's where if It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium came from. Lovely flowers by the way

They are beautiful! Unfortunately, I don't remember what they're called, although I've had them myself. Nor do I know where that saying originated. Perhaps other mylotters will know.

You've been told about the movie and I think the flowers are alstroemaria. Whatever they are, they are very pretty. The more common name is Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas.
